GULF COAST — Chinese New Year, also referred to as Lunar New Year, is Saturday, Feb. 10. This year, dragons take center stage as the Year of the Dragon is celebrated. This is good news for casino players as dragons are said to be symbols of authority, prosperity,

Beau Rivage
The Year of the Dragon comes roaring into Beau Rivage with the Dragon’s Roar $150,000 Baccarat Drawing Series starting Jan. 1. The series features three drawings in which five winners will be selected to each receive $10,000 in TablePlay. Drawings are schedule for Sundays, Jan. 28, Feb. 25 and March 24.
MGM Rewards players will earn 10 virtual entries for every hour of rated baccarat play during the earning period. The top 10 baccarat players during each earning period will receive 25 bonus entries into the drawings.
Guests must activate electronic entries on each drawing day at any MGM Rewards kiosk between 10 a.m. and 8:50 p.m. to be
entered in the drawing. Entrants must be present to win.
Golden Nugget Biloxi
Golden Nugget Biloxi is hosting a free Asian show on Sunday, Jan. 14, in the Grand Ballroom. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30
p.m.
Later in the month,
on Saturday, Jan. 20,
guests can win a share of cash in the Lunar New Year Cash Giveaway. Players club members can receive entries for every 20 tier credits earned while playing baccarat games now through the giveaway date. On Jan. 20, activate entries by earning an additional 20 tier credits playing baccarat. Starting at 10:30 p.m., 12 players will be selected to win up to $500 cash. The grand-prize winner will receive
$5,000.
Hard Rock Biloxi
Hard Rock Biloxi has the $20,000 Baccarat Hot Seat every Sunday in January. Players club members actively playing baccarat in Fortune Palace will be eligible to win. Ten winners will be selected between 9 and 11 p.m. to receive $500 in Lucky Bet vouchers each week.
Golden Nugget has baccarat series
BILOXI — The Year of the Dragon Baccarat Series at Golden Nugget has players winning Table Bets or Free Play prizes on a weekly and monthly basis. Just play baccarat to receive entries for a chance to win.
Players club members can earn entries weekly by playing at baccarat table games only. Receive one entry for every 20 tier credits earned. Each Monday, one winner will
be selected to receive $800 in their choice of Table Bets or Free Play.
Winners do not have to be present to win, but winners must claim their prize no later than midnight the following Monday. Entries do not carry over week to week, but they do carry over for the monthly Saturday drawings.
Grand-prize drawings on select Saturdays, including Jan. 13, will
have six winners selected to each win $1,000 in Table Bets or Free Play. The drawing dates will be announced in advance each month, and drawings are set for 10:30 p.m.
For these drawings, entrants must be present to win. Entries must be activated between 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. by earning 20 tier credits playing baccarat.
