Casino chefs cook with love on Valentine’s Day
 GULF COAST — Gulf Coast casino chefs have put their hearts into creating some very special Valentine’s Day menus this year. From buffets to fine dining, steaks and seafood, there is something tasty for everyone to love among the holiday offerings. And don’t forget the sweet desserts. These specials are offered on Tuesday, Feb. 14, Valentine’s Day. Just a reminder: In most cases, reservations are necessary and should be made soon.
Palace Casino Resort
At Palace Casino Resort, the Palace Buffet has a Valentine’s Day special. On Feb. 14, enjoy a traditional holiday menu with prime rib and all the favorites from the Grill, Comfort, Wok and Coastal stations — and don’t forget the dessert. The holiday meal is available from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for $28 with a players club card ($30 without).
Palace’s award-winning Mignon’s Steaks & Seafood has a Valentine’s dinner for two available from 5 to 10 p.m. on Valentine’s Day. The meal ($130 per couple/$70 individual guests) starts with choice of a Valentine’s salad or a roasted red pepper tomato bisque with Gruyère ciabatta toast.
The main course is surf and turf — Gulf shrimp and beef tenderloin with Yukon potato puree. The shared dessert is a chocolate cheesecake with raspberry jam, Chantilly cream and an edible flower.

Island View Casino Resorts
Sweep your sweetie off their feet with a sensational Valentine’s meal at Island View Casino Resorts. On Tuesday, Feb. 14, three restaurants will host holiday dinners from 5 to 10 p.m. Each dinner is $60 per person.

with an amuse-bouche featuring
a crabmeat canape of jumbo lump crabmeat tossed with remoulade sauce and served in a wonton crisp. For the appetizer, enjoy chicken pasta pomodoro — grilled chicken with linguini in a light tomato basil sauce.
Next, enjoy a baby spinach and frisée salad with strawberries, orange segments, cranberries, and candied pecans served with a white balsamic creamy dressing. For the entrée, choose either a 6-ounce petite filet, cooked to request, and topped with a merlot sauce and asparagus, or bronzed redfish, seared and served with a lemon- lime beurre Blanc butter sauce, gulf shrimp
and asparagus. To top off the meal, there is chocolate cake with fresh berries, garnished with a sabayon sauce and raspberry puree. Diners must be 21.
Beau Rivage
Celebrate your love at Beau Rivage. Several restaurants, including BR Prime and Stalla, have holiday meals on Tuesday, Feb. 14.
Beau Rivage’s award-winning steakhouse, BR Prime will serve a special Valentine’s Day dinner from 5 to 10 p.m. The meal begins
with an amuse of duck confit croquette and yuzu vinaigrette. Guests have a choice of a mixed green salad ($15) or a roasted pepper tomato bisque ($12). Entrées include choice of beef Rossini, featuring a filet, brioche, foie gras, truffle and sauce Perigueux ($78) or bouillabaisse, with Chilean sea bass, scallops, shrimp, mussels, clams ($68). The romantic meal concludes with dessert a raspberry cremeux of red berry crumble, chocolate ganache and raspberry sauce ($15).
