Casinos have March Madness promotions
MISSISSIPPI — Basketball fans are getting ready for the all the excitement of March Madness — the NCAA tournament that starts March 15 with dozens of teams competing for the title. The slate will quickly be whittled down to the Sweet 16, then the Elite Eight and, finally, the Final Four. Those championship games will take place in early April at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
While all Mississippi casino sportsbook are taking bets on the tournament, several casinos have special March Madness events. Here are just a few of the happenings surrounding the basketball tournament.
Boomtown Casino Biloxi is hosting the Slam Dunk Sportsbook Promotion with players earning entries now through Thursday, March 17. Earn one entry for every $10 in eligible sports bets made, plus get double entries on Fridays. On Friday, March 18, three winners will be randomly selected. The grand prize is two game day tickets to the college basketball
finals in New Orleans, plus a two- night hotel stay. The first runner- up will receive $500 mycash and the second runner-up wins $250 mycash.
There is March Madness at Beau Rivage in a number of venues. Giveaways and promotions can be found inside TopGolf Swing Suite and Black Clover Lounge, which has extended hours March 16 through March 20. TopGolf will be open Wednesday from 4 to 10 p.m. and Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Must be 21 to attend.
BetMGM will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. March 17 through March 20 with full restaurant service. Food and beverage specials will be offered all weekend with full day ($300 per person) and half day ($175 per person) seating options. Place a sportsbook bet at Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast and get an entry into
the March Mayhem giveaway. Players club members can receive one entry for every $5 wagered at the sportsbook. Earn entries through Thursday, March 12. The first- place prize is two tickets to the NCAA championship basketball game in New Orleans, plus a two-night stay at Boomtown New Orleans. The second-place winner will receive $500 in mycash, and $250 in mycash will be awarded to the third-place winner.

On Sundays, March 13, 20 and 27, from 1 to 6 p.m., players club members win BonusPlay when they swipe at the kiosk.
