choice of dressing or shrimp and crab bisque.
Choose an entrée of either grilled petite filet
mignon topped with jus and herb butter or soft-shell crab eggs Benedict, topped with a poached egg, crabmeat and hollandaise sauce.
Both entrée choices are served with asparagus. Last, but not least, there is fresh berries shortcake for dessert. The Mother’s Day menu will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. for $26 per person.
Dockside Deli’s special Mother’s Day menu begins with a choice of seafood gumbo, shrimp salad or spinach watermelon salad. For the entrée, select either seared redfish Florentine, a fresh farm raised redfish atop a spinach croquette topped with anisette cream; or black-and-blue tortellini pasta, prime rib and cheese tortellini tossed with a Parmesan carbonara sauce with green peas and topped with blue cheese.
This special will be available from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for $22 per person.
Silver Slipper Casino Hotel
Silver Slipper Casino Hotel has Mother’s Day specials in the Jubilee Buffet and in the Blue Bayou Bar & Grill. In the buffet, enjoy a Champagne brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The special holiday menu includes prime rib, crab and shrimp served until 9 p.m. The full menu will be available. The buffet is $49.95 all day.
In Blue Bayou, the special starts with a cup of brandied crab and brie bisque, followed by petite filet au poivre with sauce béarnaise, lobster quiche with truffle, asparagus and Gruyere cheese, and arugula salad with honey-poached pear, spiced pecans, goat cheese and praline bacon topped with raspberry-poppyseed vinaigrette. For dessert, enjoy chocolate mousse pâté with salted caramel and Chambord cream. The meal is $65.

Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast
At Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast, the Epic Buffet has a Mother’s Day special from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Enjoy hand- carved prime rib, roasted leg of lamb, turkey breast and catfish, along with jumbo shrimp, snow crabs, crawfish and
more. The buffet is $49.99.
Pearl River Resort
At Pearl River Resort, The Buffet is offering a Mother’s Day brunch on May 8. Served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the brunch is $34.99 all day, and crab legs will be
available for $14.99 per pound.
