 Over The River Run
WaterView Casino Hotel participated in the 33rd Annual Over the River Run in Vicksburg. Participating were (from left) Joyce Beacham, Robert Owens, Ruth Funches, Kristy Brister, Nancy Lindsey,
Michelle Collins and Deanna Blailock. Both Owens and Beacham placed first in their age groups. WaterView is also a sponsor of the annual event, which benefits the Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation.
   Showing Appreciation
On National First Responders Day, Oct. 28, Bally’s Vicksburg showed appreciation to members of the local fire,
police and sheriff’s departments for everything they do throughout the year. Vice President and General Manager Derrius Morris (above, left), Briggett Simon (below, right), marketing supervisor, and Tim Hunter, director of property management, delivered the sweet treats.
Heart Walk Celebration
Treasure Bay crewmembers put their hearts and soles into fundraising for the Gulf Coast Heart Walk this year. From sales of the company’s Heart Walk T-shirt and a baked goods, more than $6,000 was raised. Crewmembers who purchased the shirts were able to wear them at work during the week of the Heart Walk. Several crewmembers took part in the pop-up Heart Walk, which was held in both Biloxi and Gulfport this year. For the second year in a row, the Team Treasure Bay T-shirt won first place in the Heart Walk shirt design contest.

Heart Association Fundraising
 Hard Rock partnered with the American Heart Association in September by raising money in a couple of ways. The casino hosted a jeans day where employees paid $5 to wear blue jeans instead of their uniform pants. Employees purchased tickets for a chance to win prizes, as well. Hard Rock’s nonprofit organization, Rockin’ the Coast, also donated money to the American Heart Association with a total of $2,500 raised.
TITO Donations
The Penn National Gaming Gulf Coast properties recently made donations to two local nonprofit organizations. Boomtown Casino Biloxi donated $1,722.44 to the Habitat For Humanity,
while Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast donated $2,510.02 to Hope Haven of Hancock
County. Pictured in each photo are Kyle Widdows (left), director of marketing, and J.D. Hill (right), vice president of marketing, with a representative from Habitat (above) and representatives from Hope Haven (left). The money was raised through guest donations of their casino ticket-in, ticket-out vouchers.
   School Supply Donation
Riverwalk Casino Hotel recently donated school supplies to the Good Shepherd Community Center in Vicksburg. Good Shepherd’s preschool program serves children ages six weeks to four years old. In addition, the center offers programs for adults and teens. Donated were boxes of supplies, including notebooks, binders, paper, glue and more.
