is the perfect time of year for nature lovers to come and
explore the great outdoors with birding and blue ways
beckoning you to hike, bike, and kayak through lush
bayous, rivers, and nature trails – not to mention, the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and the Gulf Islands National Seashore.

Although most well-known for its white sand beaches and breathtaking views, Coastal Mississippi in winter is a vision in and of itself. While we may not have the coldest winter around, the snowbirds who flock to the Coast each year know that the weather here makes it one of the best places to spend the season.
