for Change was formed to make a difference in the lives of families by advocating on behalf of the voiceless, finding the resources needed in the post-Katrina rebuilding process
and bringing timely information to the community so it can effectively influence the decisions made about its future.
Pink Heart Funds is based in Long Beach and exists to inspire, encourage and restore hope to persons affected by cancer and hair loss disorders.

South Mississippi is fortunate to have a number of such grassroot organizations started by individuals with a passion to help others.
