KSU wins $50,000 in the Home Depot Retool Your School Contest
KKentucky State University came in first place to thesocialmedia-drivencompetition.Atotalofninegrants win $50,000 in the Home Depot Retool Your School will be awarded this year: three $50,000 grants, three
contest. The University plans to add more outdoor seating and improve the look of the Student Center food court with the grant from Home De- pot. KSU Interim President Dr. Aaron Thompson attended the event in At- lanta, Georgia, to accept the award.

$40,000 grants and three $30,000 grants. The Frankfort community, KSU alumni, staff, faculty and stu- dents came together to help KSU become a finalist in the contest by tweeting the Home Depot-assigned hashtag #KyState_RYS17.
