CRUISIN’ THE COAST
Ocean Springs Mardi Gras Parades
Budweiser Bud & Burgers is an outdoor cooking competition that allows home cooks, restaurants, businesses, and organizations to assemble teams and compete for prizes for the best burger around. This event is set up in downtown at the historic L&N Depot Plaza.
MAY
celebrate Mardi Gras season with one of the
first parades of the season in Ocean Springs. Hosted by the Elks Lodge, nearly 100 floats hit the downtown streets offering beads and trinkets to festival goers followed by Krewe Unique. The Ocean Springs Night Parade hosted by the Ocean Springs Carnival Association lights up the night in downtown with floats, music and more.
MARCH
St. Paddy’s Day Celebration is held downtown, uptown, all around town each St. Patrick’s Day in Ocean Springs offering specials at shops, galleries and restaurants. The evening comes alive with music, drink specials and more. Battle on the Bayou is an annual kayak race in Ocean Springs and one of the largest in the state. For experienced and novice alike, the competition welcomes kayaks, canoes, and stand up paddle boards for a 9.5 mile race through Old Fort Bayou Blueways. Attendees come from all over the world to compete.
Food Month featuring three events centered around the culinary Mecca of Ocean Springs.
Spring Arts Festival is held on the last weekend in March. This is a celebration of spring and the arts with more than 150 artists, crafters and gardeners. The event is an outdoor festival set beneath the historic live oaks in downtown Ocean Springs. Partnering with the local arts community the festival emphasizes community arts and nature.

Taste of Ocean Springs Food Crawl
celebrates the dining culture of Ocean Springs featuring savory delights from a selection of our restaurants. As a kick off to Restaurant Week, the month of May sees a host of exciting new menus at participating restaurants, Free Food Friday giveaways, Restaurant Week and more. Tickets available in April.
Annual Red, White & Blueberry Festival is held in conjunction with the
Ocean Springs Fresh Market in downtown Ocean Springs and features vendors, blueberry recipes, free vanilla ice-cream topped with blueberries and strawberries, live entertainment and more.
JULY
July Sidewalk Sale is held uptown, downtown, all around town at participating businesses. For two days, participating shops, restaurants and galleries display their summer specials out front of their businesses and inside with deals on clothing, shoes, jewelry, artwork, toys, food, drinks and more. Some businesses also feature artist demonstrations and live music.
