DR. LAUREN TIMMONS, TIMMONS FAMILY AND COSMETIC DENTISTRY
After receiving his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry, Dr. Lauren Timmons opened Timmons Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. He grew up in McComb but moved to the Coast in 2006 when he opened his practice.
His inspiration for dentistry is thanks to a local dentist he admired during his childhood. “I thought it would be an interesting career,” he admits. “As I got older and was deciding what career to pursue, I found that dentistry provided the challenge, ever-evolving, and expanding opportunities to keep me on my toes, all while fulfilling
my need to help improve people’s lives.”
Dr. Timmons views dentistry as a science but moreover as an art
form. He loves being able to provide state-of-the-art, advanced dental technology. “It’s what keeps me excited and motivated in this industry.”
In his spare time, you can find him playing tennis, running the beach, playing his drums, or renovating his family’s sixth generation antebellum home in McComb. He loves animals and supports the South Mississippi Humane Society along with local spay and neuter organizations within the community.
