 Faces of Gulf Coast Lighting
JEFF AND JEFFREY ROSSKOPF
While Gulf Coast Lighting Group (GCLG) has only been known by this name since 2017, the family has a long history of working in electrical supply. In the 1940s, Jeff Rosskopf’s grandfather opened Joe Williams Electric Supply in Jackson. By 1960, he had opened a location in Gulfport.
Jeff and his brothers bought the business in 1990, changing the name to Rosskopf Electric Supply. Now, they’ve settled on GCLG. Jeff’s son Jeffery Rosskopf joined the business
in 2018, working alongside his father and his uncle,
Ken. The business has a partnership with Mississippi Power where GCLG is able to provide rebates to customers to
affordably transition to energy-efficient lighting.
The business focuses on commercial and residential LED lighting
products, but also provides motion sensor switches, emergency lights, and exit signs. They also have many lines of LED light fixtures and lamps to fit any customer’s lighting needs. GCLG’s manufacturers’ products meet and/or exceed UL, ETL, DLC, and
Energy Star standards.
GCLG is proud to service the Gulf Coast, Oxford,
Laurel, and Hattiesburg.
When not busy lighting up the state,
this father and son duo enjoy golfing and fishing.
