In 1964, Curtis Compton started an AC repair business, which bloomed into an AC company. By 1987, an appliance business was purchased. The Compton’s have been working together as a family since its foundation three generations ago.
“Working for a third-generation company is important to me,” Vice President and COO, Matt Compton states. “I love being a local business and being able to support our local community.”
The family is native to Coastal Mississippi and can’t imagine living or working anywhere else. They all do their part to make the community a better place. “My go-to sayings are ‘Work as hard as
you can every day to be the best at whatever it is you’re doing’ and ‘Be kind,’” says CEO Chuck Compton.
Director of Operations, Jill Compton, may not have been born into the business, but discovered her passion. “I love helping someone create the perfect outdoor oasis,” she explains. Matt shares this passion for design – he loves helping costumers create their dream kitchen, both indoors and outdoors.
