Welcome to the 45th annual Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival presented by Blue Moon. This year, we celebrate 45 years of Peter Anderson and 95 years of Shearwater Pottery. What an honor.
This community would not be what it is today without the economic and creative threads lead by the Anderson family. From the beginning, the Anderson family’s inspiration grew this town, starting with an art colony and growing to a nationally-acclaimed fine arts festival.
Each year, we find new artists to partner with our local retailers who carry these Peter Anderson Festival artists’ work year-round, and
we see new businesses popping up because they
experienced this beautiful town and its hospitality
through the festival.
The partnerships within the festival continue to
grow as well. The festival has become a creative vessel to help artists, businesses, and groups reach out and share the word on their businesses. Word of mouth is still a powerful form of marketing.
This year, we welcome Raising Cane’s and their activity area. You won’t want to miss this fun experience. Try your hand at Plinko!
Blue Moon has definitely brought the festival and
the businesses in downtown and throughout town
some real notice, including through the Blue Moon
Kick Off party on October 24. That party officially
kicks off all things Peter Anderson Festival. During the festival, you will notice their presence, including the Blue Moon experience. We will also have some new partnerships within the festival and some fun activities. Look for the life-sized police box on Porter Avenue, artists creating masterpieces amidst the festival, and much more.
The nearly 400 artists, crafters, and food vendors come from all around the United States to showcase everything from pottery, paintings, jewelry, metalsmithing, digital arts and more. Some of these artists are festival staples and some are new to the area. Enjoy the walkable festival and don’t forget to check out all the new finds located inside our surrounding local businesses.
Our food court off Washington Avenue has a variety of everything. Grab a bite with one of the festival vendors or with our local restaurants and bars, then relax in the food court and watch a football game on the big screen.
This festival really does have it all, and we invite you to come shop, enjoy, and relax with us for the 45th Annual Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival presented by Blue Moon and its sponsors. If you need help with anything, visit one of five entrances/information booths. We are happy that you are here and are ready to help you around our festival and our one-of-a- kind, award-winning town: Ocean Springs.
