high school to ordering way too many chocolate covered nuts from the Biloxi Lions Club, she enjoys being involved within her community and giving back. “I’m a people person, and it gives me fulfillment to help my neighbors,” says Langlinais.
Although Louis Langlinais passed away in 2012, Beacon Insurance continues
to be a family agency with their son, Matthew, and three granddaughters, Shannon, Ally, and Samantha, working there. “I am very fortunate to have my son as CEO and three granddaughters working within the agency,” Donna Langlinais said. “It’s exciting to see how smart they are and to watch them grow. I sometimes have to hold back from running into their offices and hugging them seeing how professional they have become. Their grandpa would be so proud, and I love having them aboard.”
Donna Langlinais and her late husband, Louis, opened the doors of Beacon Insurance Services on May 2, 2002, with a desire to bring affordable insurance coverage to people of the Gulf Coast. Starting with just the two of them, they have since grown to 15 employees and locations in both Biloxi and Gautier.
She believes the agency’s longevity is due to their customer service. “The term ‘customer service’ gets thrown around a lot, but it’s invaluable,” Langlinais says. “You must get to know your customers in order to protect their assets and needs; they are depending on you. We continue to see tremendous growth,
with the month of October being the largest month in our 20-year history!
We have many companies and markets to offer, and we want to ensure our clients are being properly insured at the best price possible.” They have formed relationships with their clients, who are like family and want to help them in any way they can.
