 LYMPHEDEMA THERAPY ON THE COAST
Lymphedema: chronic swelling caused by a build-up of fluid that occurs when the lymphatic system is either faulty or damaged.
CAUSES:
• Lymph node removal for cancer treatment (Breast Cancer Uterine Cancer Head/Neck) • Injury to lymphatic vessels due to trauma or infection
• Venous insufficiency, causing overload of lymphatic vessels
• Congenital malformation of lymphatics

GOALS OF LYMPHEDEMA THERAPY:
• Reduce the volume of the affected limb

• Decrease Atillary Web Syndrome
