The huddle is one of the most important elements to any football contest. Within the huddle, teammates have the ability
to strategize their next play, motivate one another, or even burn some time off of the clock. Typically led by the team captain, the huddle is a tactical safe haven for the players and a great way for the captain to continue leading the team. Restauranteur Nicole Hopkins believes that the best place for any team is in the huddle. Therefore,
it only made sense to name the Hurley Huddle after that oh-so-familiar place of camaraderie.
Opened in 2019, the Hurley Huddle is
a definite top pick for all things sports, food, and fun. Hopkins cut her teeth in the restaurant industry as a manager of sports bar franchises before deciding it was time to set out on her own. Hopkins knew Hurley needed a restaurant with a communal spirit, a place where people could grab a quick lunch, celebrate family milestones, or revel in the Friday night lights.
Make no mistake, the Hurley Huddle is the place to go when you are looking to
get fed and get fed a lot. Hopkins built
the menu from the ground up, drawing inspiration from her previous sports bar experiences. She wanted something that was simple, but still just enough. The menu is expansive and it may take a few minutes to decide exactly what you’re after, so it’s best to start off with a “pre-game snack.” The Cheese Curds with – wait for it – caramel sauce, are epic. Yep. Dessert first. The salty combination of lightly breaded cheese curds with the sweetness of the thick caramel sauce is absolute perfection, and while you may be questioning my sanity, definitely don’t knock it ‘til you try it.
If you are hungry, but not wanting to burn through your calorie count in one meal, the Hurley Huddle offers a variety
of lighter fare options. The Huddle Hole in One salad is layered with fresh fruit and veggies and features grilled chicken, spring mix, avocado, blue cheese, and much more. The Chicken Club Wrap is another option to keep you on the lighter side. Grilled chicken, cheddar cheese, purple onions, diced tomatoes, and bacon are drizzled
 The Huddle Burger.
