When school is out, it’s time for fun! Often, this means summer camps.
In South Mississippi, there’s a camp to suit every child’s interests and age. We’ve gathered a wide range of information to help parents make decisions about summer activities for their children.
This list may not include every camp in the area, so be sure to check other local listings.

2022 Summer Reading Program
The theme for this year’s summer reading program is “Oceans of Possibilities.” Each branch of the Harrison County Library System will sponsor special programs and activities for all ages. Youth can sign up for the reading program to receive activity packs, prizes, and certificates. Stop by your local library to register. Everyone is welcome – and it’s free!
