     Dr. Kinyatta Bennett is
changing family dental care
for the better, right here in
South Mississippi. At Healthy Smiles Family Dentistry, Bennett and her staff go above and beyond to create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages.
With waiting areas for both adults and children, their state-of-the-art facility is a parent’s best friend.
“Being a mother of three myself, it’s important to me to create an atmosphere that myself and my kids would feel comfortable in if we were on the receiving end of the treatment,” says Bennett. “We try to make this experience as pleasant as possible, from the waiting room to the dentist’s chair.”
The Healthy Smiles team is a family, and treats their patients with the same kindness and care as they would their own family members. “We truly care about doing what’s in our patients’
best interests,” says Bennett. “We put ourselves in the places of the parents and do everything we can to make family dental care as easy as possible, including scheduling multiple children at the same time to make things more convenient.”
Healthy Smiles is equally committed to
giving back to the community. Carrying on the dream shared
by her late husband and partner, Dr. Christopher Bennett, Bennett hosts
a yearly backpack giveaway for local children, providing them with the supplies they’ll need for the upcoming school year. She also hosts an annual breakfast with Santa, where children
can take photos with Santa, enjoy a pancake breakfast, and make Christmas crafts. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Healthy Smiles partnered with another local dentist to deliver over 150 meals to local emergency departments and health clinics.
Healthy Smiles is as dedicated to giving back to South Mississippi as they are to providing compassionate, quality care
to their patients. “We believe that a healthier smile makes a healthier person, a philosophy we achieve through dental care and commitment to the community,” says Bennett. “The most rewarding aspect of dentistry is giving my patients their smiles back. There is so much joy in helping someone smile again.”
