Why is it that food sometimes tastes better when there’s a rich history behind it? The tastes, the flavors, the essence. They all
hit just a little bit different when there’s a story to tell. I think it’s because that one single bite, or that one particular aroma, can awaken a memory and transport us back to a place in time where we were happy, content, and – if food was involved – satisfied. Nostalgia is a powerful cure-all that creeps up as we recollect on what may have been a simpler time, often reminding us to relax and slow down. And what better way to slow down than with a trip to your local drive-in?
Edd’s Drive-In has been serving up bits and pieces of nostalgia since its inception in 1953. Originally a Dairy Queen, owner Ed McElroy reimagined the drive-in in 1962 to the Edd’s we know and love today.

Today, Edd’s is owned and operated by members of the Foster and Martin families of Pascagoula, all of whom have led the charge of growing and evolving Edd’s. They pride themselves on keeping up with the times while maintaining a consistently simple menu where every bite has the ability to make you smile.
