Dylan Dexter loves to learn and has no plans to stop anytime soon.
The D’Iberville High School
Star Student has plans to attend
the University of Mississippi and major in computer science and then his agenda will take him to law school.
Dexter is currently the student council executive vice president, president of Mu Alpha Theta, which is the math honor society, president of the
ACT 30+ Club, president of the National Honor Society, a member of the high school’s bowling team, captain of the quiz bowl team, a member of the Ecowarriors, and a member of the Key Club.
When Dexter does find himself with a little time to spare, he enjoys hanging out with his friends and playing video games.
“I also love to read and just learn everything I can,” he said, adding he’s looking forward to college.
Rae-Anna White
is senior at Gulfport High School. She is
a Jamaican emigrant who started at Gulfport High School in her 10th grade year.
White was a year behind when she started, but has completed every
class needed for
her to graduate
on time. White’s nominator says that she is a dedicated, dependable, professional, and driven student who shows the qualities
of an outstanding scholar.

  She is involved on
campus. Whenever
needed, White is willing to give her time, efforts, and talents with a smile on her face and a positive attitude.
In addition to school, White works as the assistant for the Public Relations and Career Pathways Specialist for the Gulfport School District. In this position, she works hard to build relationships with school employees, community members, and students.
White has represented Gulfport High School many times for multiple events, and was the first-place winner in the NAACP oratorical scholarship contest.
On top of all of these activities, White still finds time to volunteer in her spare time.
