    WHITE PILLARS
If you’re looking for fine dining with a creative and fresh take on coastal cuisine, look no further than White Pillars Restaurant and Lounge in Biloxi. Chef Austin Sumrall, along with his wife, Tresse, have taken an iconic, coastal landmark and added a new and modern flair. The result is food that is innovative, fresh and, above all, absolutely delicious.
Chef Sumrall’s love of all things food was cultivated at an early age by
a generational influence of down-home cooks. Trained in New York,
a gastronomic epicenter, this Mississippi native draws from his roots when preparing some of the most imaginative and enjoyable meals you will find.
His style is eclectic and does not fit into any one parameter or category. The ever-changing menu allows White Pillars to keep things new and inventive for its guests. Still, a few menu staples such as the Smoked and Fried Chicken or the Gulf Seafood Tower offer a continual glimpse into what keeps people coming back for more.
White Pillars reopened its doors under Chef Sumrall’s leadership in 2017 and continues to be a staple for local patrons and wandering foodies alike. Chef Sumrall prides himself on sourcing local ingredients and can often be found at farmers markets sifting through garden-fresh vegetables, thoughtfully cured meats and a host of other carefully chosen ingredients. Even the pottery servingware is locally-sourced. It’s this attention to detail and a desire to constantly challenge his creative techniques that place Chef Sumrall and White Pillars at the top of the coastal restaurant food chain.
Whether you are looking for a hearty dinner, inspired brunch, or a creative libation, White Pillars is your go-to place for everything delicious, sophisticated and refined.
