                 Taco Sombrero
It all started in 1979 when two guys from Texas, got the idea to bring quality, made- in-house, quick-service Mexican food to the Gulf Coast. Just a year later, the first Taco Sombrero opened its doors.
“We’re all about family values and quality Mexican food you can count on,” says Lynn Parkhill, owner. These standards, and their loyal customers, are what have allowed Taco Sombrero and its franchise locations to flourish over the past 43 years.
These days, Taco Sombrero proudly serves the Coast with locations in Gulfport, Biloxi, and Ocean Springs.

           Roberts Place Café
Roberts Place Café Owner and Proprietor Dorothy Roberts has long been an important contributor to our Coastal community. Following the success of her gift shop, Robin’s Nest in the Pass, Roberts wanted to open a café as a way of bringing people together over a delicious meal.
Robert’s Place Café is a true Coastal
gem. The quaint house serving as a
backdrop for these deliciously-prepared
meals only adds to what is a sweet and unique experience. Roberts enjoys hosting small gatherings and prides herself on the restaurant’s ability to accommodate its guests and their orders. Fresh ingredients, friendly smiles, and food cooked with love make Roberts Place Café that “home away from home” dining experience that we all truly need.
