For years, Meet the Doctors has been one of our most highly-anticipated issues, and for good reason. This edition in particular is filled to the brim with information on the Coast’s health care options, which are second to none. Filled with familiar faces, Meet the Doctors has become a community keepsake – a guide to decision-making when it comes to our health.
Within the last year, our appreciation for the health care heroes has only grown. Even in the midst of a pandemic,
we have never felt alone. Health care providers continually reminded us “We are here. We have a plan.” Our local medical offices have kept us informed, kept us safe, and altered their entire way of doing things, seemingly overnight, to meet our new needs.
From the bottom of our hearts, Team SML would like to thank the many health care professionals of the Coast for their dedication to caring for our community. Reading about the men and women in this issue, you’ll notice that many of them devote their days to helping those in need of medical care,
and their free time is spent in much the same way. Community involvement is a common thread among these heroes, and one that often goes unnoticed.
So please join us in celebrating these amazing men and women, today and every day. Donate meals to hospitals
and medical offices if you can, and share kind words of appreciation and encouragement with them whenever possible.
