 The National Diabetes and Obesity Research Institute (NDORI) is a 501(c)
(3) non-profit organization located on
the Mississippi Gulf Coast. NDORI’s three-part mission is focused on making a visible difference in our state and region. First, we are committed to discovering a cure for diabetes and obesity. Second, we are building on our collaboration with Mississippi institutional, professional and community partners to develop and share exert local and national medical knowledge. Third, we are developing our community and economy by working with partners
to graduate and attract more health
professionals, and to attract the healthcare industry to our state and region to create infrastructure and jobs.
In our clinic, we use innovative and evidence-based treatment and prevention strategies combined with education for patients with diabetes and/or obesity. Our expert, multi-disciplinary staff individualizes care to fit the needs of the patient. We are also actively working on research projects and clinical trials that target diabetes and obesity and related conditions.
