HANNA FERNANDEZ, NP-C
Hanna Fernandez, APRN, is a native of Metairie, Louisiana. She attended Louisiana State University School of Nursing where she earned her Bachelor
of Science in Nursing in 2015. She went on to attend Louisiana State University’s Nursing Doctoral Program in New Orleans, where she earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2020. Fernandez
is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Fernandez has a true passion for ophthalmology. Her mother has been working in ophthalmology for over 25 years and
she knew she wanted to continue the tradition. During Nurse Practitioner school, Fernandez gained three years
of ophthalmology experience as a registered nurse. She enjoys helping those with dry eyes by creating an individualized treatment plan using advanced
diagnostics and staying up to date with the latest advances in eye care and dry eye treatment.
