After receiving his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry, Dr. Lauren Timmons opened Timmons Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. He grew up in McComb but moved to the Coast in 2006 when he opened his dentistry.
Dr. Timmons was inspired to go into dentistry because of a local dentist that he admired. As he decided to pursue it, he found
that the field provided the challenging, ever- evolving, and expanding opportunities to keep him on his toes while helping and improving people’s lives.
He believes that the biggest misconception about dentistry is that the dentist will cause pain. While sometimes pain is inevitable, Dr. Timmons’s focus is to help create as much of a painless, anxiety-free, and cosmetically beautiful experience for each of his patients.
Dr. Timmons wants everyone to have the best smile while having the best possible experience and care from him and his amazing staff.
When Dr. Timmons is not working at the office, he enjoys working on his ranch in Ocean Springs and renovating his sixth- generation antebellum home and land in McComb. He also enjoys riding electric mountain bikes, tennis, playing drums, skiing, and hiking in Montana with his family.
