For Long Beach native Clayton Stevens, M.D., the most rewarding aspect of his career as an ophthalmologist is being able
to improve quality of life for his patients. He’s been back on the Coast after practicing in Texas and is the owner of Stevens Eye Care in Biloxi.
“Stevens Eye Care strives to provide excellent eye care and surgical results while still respecting patients’ time,” he says. “Our experience and mindful scheduling allow us to efficiently care for patients. We strive to start your visit before you have a chance to sit down in our waiting room.”
Dr. Stevens believes in providing compassionate, cost-effective care. Having practiced in large hospital and office settings previously, he values the personal touch that his
small practice provides. “You are not a number waiting your turn to be seen at Stevens Eye Care,” he said.
He first attended Mississippi College, then earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi. He completed an ophthalmology residency with Tulane University of Louisiana.
“Every day I look forward to seeing my patients and making a difference,” he says is his mission.
Having practiced nine years, Dr. Stevens is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Mississippi Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. Together, he and the office staff have more than 50 years of collective experience in eye care.
