What do you get when you combine the culinary passions of two coastal foodies with the kitchen prowess of an impeccable local chef? You get Radish, one of the newest additions to our South Mississippi food scene. Owners William and Brooke Rester have teamed up with Chef Lauren Joffrion to create a stunning menu beaming with a multitude of flavors. The radish itself is a simple, rather unassuming vegetable, however, the Radish restaurant is anything but basic.
A primary goal behind the menu at Radish is to keep the options seasonal
and to keep the options fresh. Repeat customers can always expect something new and exciting, from elegant starters to beautifully-curated entrees. While perusing the menu options, treat yourself to one of their signature cocktails featuring juices and mixers made in-house. The Desert Flower is my favorite libation showcasing
a mix of tequila blanco, lime, Aperol and a house orgeat syrup mixed together in a beautifully-colored, bright coral hue.
When you are ready to eat, an amazing summer treat is the cool Heirloom Tomato Salad served alongside warm Molasses Cornbread. Heirloom tomatoes, peaches, blackberries, and lychees are delicately plated in delicious, basil-infused olive oil and sprinkled with sesame seeds. The Molasses Cornbread is served in its own cast iron skillet and topped with whipped honey butter. Both make for a great summer lunch or a delicious dinner starter. A customer favorite soup is the Corn
and Crab Bisque. Loaded with generous bites of crab and corn, this soup sells out quickly.
The entrees at Radish are standout options combining the perfect amalgamation of customary and unique ingredients. The Maple Leaf Farms
