“A solid support system is key for young women.”
What I like best about what I do is: I love to create environments for families to make memories. Whether it’s sharing a Pop Brothers popsicle on The Patio, walking their dog around the property as they select plants, or listening to a local band on The Deck, I hope that every time you step into Jack’s Plant and Patio, you feel at home.
What’s something interesting about you that not many people know? I have a passion for singing and have led the worship team at Northwood Church in Wiggins for fifteen years. I am also in a local band from Stone County called Little Jimmy.
What moment from your life made the biggest impact on your career? The
plant giveaway that we did in April 2020.
My husband and I were sitting at home, talking about the pandemic and how we could appreciate healthcare professionals and first responders. That weekend, we decided to give
away plants to healthcare professionals and first responders. At a time that our
community was struggling, we were able to help lift their spirits with a
plant because plants make people happy! It made me feel like our small heartfelt gesture really made a difference in the lives of those
around us.
