Who or what inspired you to pursue your current career?
My family! I have three little boys and a very driven husband. They inspire me every day to make their lives the very best they can possibly be.
What I like best about what I do is:
The gratification it brings. In Real Estate you never know who may contact you, when, or
what deal you may put together that will change someone’s life. It’s a good feeling to know that you helped bring a client’s dream to fruition.
My greatest successes have been:
My children, my marriage and the career I’ve built. I work hard to always be present for my husband and children. I also make time to do things I enjoy to ensure I feel good about myself, and in turn can be my best self for them. It’s a balance for all working Moms, but it’s crucial for your mental health.
It’s important to support other woman- owned businesses because:
They are working just as hard as you. There is enough success for everyone and I want to be around successful women.
What are your favorite things to do on the Coast?
We live in downtown Ocean Springs so we love to walk to all the great restaurants, grab a mojito or take the kids for ice cream.
What moment from your life made the biggest impact on your career?
My parents owned their own businesses and they always allowed me to work for them. From a very young age, I learned about check registries, bank deposits and working with customers. I didn’t know I was picking up so many life skills at the time, but it was helpful to have these skills ingrained when I started applying for jobs in college and after graduating.
