Who or what inspired you to pursue your current career? That’s a twofold question! My mother-in-law and husband. She was truly driven and conquered hurdles that would have been easier to give up on, but never did. My husband because he and his parents served the D’Iberville and Biloxi communities for over 50 years. To see his face light up as he tells family and friends the stories of working with his parents is truly priceless. They loved serving their customers and community.
What I like best about what I
do is: I LOVE to see the smiles on our customers faces and make them laugh. We try to make every customer feel like they are at home with family!
My greatest successes have been: Watching our children grow into successful young adults.
What moment from your
life made the biggest impact on your career? My dad! Always said, “You only have your name coming in and out of this world,” and “A handshake was an agreement you didn’t break.”
What I like best about what I do is: I love being able to make connections with all my clients. My favorite part is the smile on their faces after I make their hair dreams come true.
My greatest successes have been: My greatest success thus far would have to be opening my own salon with my partners at only 25 years old.
What moment from your life made the biggest impact on your career? I have a two-year- old little boy and from the moment I laid eyes on him, I knew I wanted to do something more for him. That’s why I wanted to open my own business – so I can try and give him everything he wants.
