About This Issue
Women are the backbone of society, from families to businesses to communities as a whole. This month, we celebrate the many amazing business women who manage to balance life and their careers every day with grace and perseverance. Each one brings their own talents, strengthening the tapestry that is South Mississippi.
Women in Business is, of course, all about women. Inside this special section, get to know the female leaders of the Gulf Coast, hear their stories, and learn more about their businesses. Also in this section, you’ll find articles highlighting the strengths of women in the workplace and advice for success.
In celebration of this issue, we typically host a mixer as well as a photo shoot featuring that year’s Women in Business, but we changed things up a
bit for 2023! We were excited to select seven of our Women in Business, each from a different career field, to represent the women of the Coast. We still hosted a party (because who doesn’t love a good party?), but this year, it was a cover reveal party!
Thank you to all of our advertisers, and those
who attended. Special thanks to Island View Casino Resort for hosting the event, as well as our vendors, Snaparazzi Photo, Alpha-Lit, Pretty Pumped Balloon Design, and Sweet Enchantments. Thanks to these amazing businesses, this year’s event was the best one yet!
