Something for all tastes at Treasure Bay
BILOXI — Looking for a restaurant that has choices to satisfy everyone? Visit The Den at Treasure Bay, where diners will find just want they are looking for on the diverse menu. Plus, every seat is carefully placed for diners to enjoy a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico.
House specialties include crab au gratin, country fried pork loin with mashed potatoes, prime rib and the popular seafood platter with shrimp, fish, crab claws and oysters. For hearty appetites, The Den also has surf and turf (12 oz. rib eye with jumbo shrimp), St. Louis-style spare ribs, country fried steak and whole stuffed flounder.
Appetizers, salads (including the favorite California grilled chicken), and a selection of burgers, along with sides and breakfast dishes, can also be enjoyed. Sandwiches include the club, grilled Reuben and Nashville hot chicken, plus The Den also features shrimp and catfish po boys.
Right now, a wine special in The Den has diners getting half off on bottles of wine every Sunday. Choose from a variety of wines, including Chardonnay, Cabernet, Merlot, Pinot Noir and more. This special can also be found in blu, the lounge adjacent to The Den.
The Den and blu are located on the ninth floor. The Den is open daily, 11 a.m. to midnight, while blu is open Monday through Friday, 4 p.m. to midnight, and Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to midnight. Happy Hour in blu with half price drinks is daily from 4 to 7 p.m.
BILOXI — Harrah’s Gulf Coast opened two restaurants recently in its new food court. Beach Wok and Port 17 are smoke-free eateries located where the buffet used to be, adjacent to the popular Steak ’N Shake. Guests will appreciate convenient access to the food court from the east garage entrance.
The Port Platter at Port 17 features fried catfish, oysters and shrimp. (Below) The grilled shrimp salad is a cool choice.
 Beach Wok features
made-to-order Asian dishes including sweet-and-sour chicken, beef-and- broccoli stir fry, lo mein and the surf-and-turf fried rice. Hand-dipped ice cream and mini donuts can be found in Scoops.
Seafood lovers will appreciate the favorites found at Port 17, which feature generous portions of New Orleans-style crab cakes, etouffee, firecracker shrimp and more. Fried, grilled, boiled, or baked, guests can have the fresh selections prepared their way. There are also a number of seafood platters, including the Port Platter, which offers a satisfying helping of fried catfish strips, oysters and shrimp.
Diners can also enjoy traditional and boneless wings, freshly prepared salads, grilled salmon and boiled shrimp and snow crab.
