Spend holiday enjoying, not cooking
Casinos serve Thanksgiving meals
 MISSISSIPPI — Casino chefs have been hard at work making sure guests have the best for their holiday celebrations. Thanksgiving meals are sure to include roasted turkey, ham and beef, plus dressings, casseroles, salads, vegetables, desserts and so much more. The holiday meals can be found in buffets, cafés and upscale restaurants, plus there are even “take it to go” options.
Unless otherwise noted, these holiday meals below are all available on Thursday, Nov. 24, Thanksgiving Day.

The Buffet has all-American favorites, including roasted and carved turkey with Southern cornbread dressing, glazed candied sweet potatoes, baked yellow squash casserole, marshmallow-and-pecan- topped carrot soufflé, green bean casserole, carved round of beef au jus and
St. Louis-style barbecue ribs. Boiled gulf shrimp, Creole seafood gumbo and U.S. farm raised crispy catfish are just some of the seafood favorites offered. There are also many other dishes from the Asian, Southern and Italian stations, as well as an assortment of cold salads. For dessert, choose from freshly made custards, ice creams and gelato. The Thanksgiving special is served from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. for $27.99 per person.
At C&G’s, start the meal with a choice of either shrimp salad, harvest green salad or seafood
savor a cotton blues cheesecake with blueberry topping. C&G will be serving this Thanksgiving special from 10:30 a.m. to 9

Day Dining
At Dockside Deli, diners will begin their meal
  choose either a roasted Tom turkey dinner served with cornbread dressing, giblet gravy, cranberry compote and green beans or twin tournedos of beef tenderloin, served with a Bearnaise sauce, asparagus and a stuffed potato. For dessert,
with a choice of butternut squash bisque, Waldorf salad or seafood gumbo. Then choose either roast turkey and cornbread dressing with cranberry sauce and butternut squash casserole or grilled ham steak with cranberry jam, green beans and butternut squash casserole. Dinner just wouldn’t be complete without dessert, a choice of either Southern pecan pie or pumpkin pie with spiced cream. Both dinners are $22 per
person from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
