Outdoor amenities opening in March
Gulf Coast weather right for fun in the sun
GULF COAST — With the weather warming up, it is time to start thinking about fun in the sun — dining, entertainment and pool time. Mississippi Gulf Coast casinos have it all, and several outdoor amenities are opening in March. Here is a look at some of what is available.
Treasure Bay
Dive into the coolest scene and refresh with a cocktail in hand. Opening Friday, March 17, Agua serves up a selection of top liquors and mixed drinks — the perfect blend to your wet and wild experience. The menu includes a variety of starters, sandwiches and wraps all made fresh to order. Enjoy a burger from the grill, and be sure to try the brick oven pizza, a specialty of the bar. Agua is located on the upper level of the pool deck and will be open Friday from 2 to 10 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.
to 10 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with extended hours starting in May.
Harrah’s Gulf Coast
The heated pool is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Pool guests must be 21 years and older from 8 to 10 p.m.
Silver Slipper Casino Hotel
Visit the Smokehouse Cafe and the Beach Bar starting Thursday, March 16. They will be open each Thursday, weather permitting, from
4 to 10 p.m. The Beach Bar features live entertainment each week at 6 p.m.
Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast
Guests can now enjoy Hollywood’s Lazy River and pool, and starting Wednesday,
Cool drinks at Agua, which opens March 17 poolside at Treasure Bay.
March 1, the pool area is open to those guests ages 6 and older. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Adult swim each day, for those 21 and older, is from 6 p.m. to closing.
