Spring Fling with how-to classes at Island View
GULFPORT — Guests at Island View can go DIY with the Gulfport resort’s seasonally sensational Spring Fling How-To classes. Every Monday from March 13 through April 10,
Island View will
feature fun and entertaining
classes, led by
local experts.
Held in
the View
Showroom, the
sessions offer hands-on demonstrations, refreshments and door prizes. Classes are open to players club members who are at Plus, Ultimate, Select or VCard levels, or Insider level members who have earned 500 or more points since July 1, 2022.
The Spring Fling How-To schedule includes:
• March 13: Make beaded jewelry with Highstreet Bead Company
• March 20: Decorate cookies with Island View’s

• March 27: Learn
to make bath bombs with Wood & Wine Designs
• April 3: Paint on canvas with Twisted
Canvas
• April 10: Learn all about
tacos with C&G Grille chefs Participants must register in advance on MyInsider. com, as space is limited. Doors open at 11:15 a.m. for the noon class and at 5:15
p.m. for the 6 p.m. class.
Silver Slipper players rolling dice to win Free Slot Play
HANCOCK COUNTY — Players are still shaking, rattling and rolling at Silver Slipper Casino Hotel.
Taking place through the end of March,
the Shake, Rattle & Roll Giveaway
features Free Slot Play prizes and the chance to win a new Ford Escape.
On Fridays and Saturdays
each month, players club
members who earn 1,500 tier points or $20 table games comp dollars between 12:01 a.m. and 10 p.m. will qualify to roll the big fuzzy dice anytime from 5 to 10:30 p.m. Players rolling the dice have the chance to win $10,000 Free Slot Play, as well as other Free Slot Play prizes.
Plus, while players are earning points to roll the fuzzy dice, they are also earning entries into the grand-prize drawing. The final drawing is set for March 25. Selected at 9 p.m., the winner will receive a 2022 Ford Escape.
