  Food Vault Opening
  Fitz Casino & Hotel held a ribbon cutting for the grand opening of the Team Member Food Vault. Mary Beth Wilkes, senior director of marketing, had the honor of cutting the ribbon and helping to officially open the new team member benefit. The food vault is available to employees in need of dry goods, including canned vegetables, pasta, and soup, for meals at home throughout the week.
  Employee Health Fair
Island View Casino Resort in Gulfport recently held an employee health fair. Employees from all departments were able to attend the event, filling their tote bags with free gifts and items from a variety of vendors who were there with information and products. The employees were also able to ask questions, learn about local medical businesses and interact with one another during the health fair.
   Caesars sends Harrah’s worker, NFL super fan, to Super Bowl
 BILOXI — Harrah’s
Gulf Coast and its parent company, Caesars Entertainment, presented Harrah’s Gulf Coast team member Jewel Coleman with tickets to Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas. Coleman, who has been with property for 27 years, was selected as the sole winner of the Caesars Entertainment NFL ticket giveaway in partnership with the NFL.

held to reward a Caesars Entertainment team member
for being an NFL super fan
and a deserving community member.
Entertainment’s eight Las Vegas properties. Upon receiving the tickets, he said he planned to take his daughter with him on the once-in-a-lifetime trip.
Harrah’s Gulf Coast SVP and General Manager Jonathan Jones and Caesars Entertainment Regional President Robert Earl were on hand to present Coleman with his tickets as more than 100 team members cheered him on.
“We submitted Jewel’s nomination without his knowledge given his super- fandom, as well as his community work,” said Nicholas Breaux Fujita, Harrah’s Gulf Coast vice president of marketing, adding, “Jewel was truly surprised by the announcement.”
 In addition to working at Harrah’s Gulf Coast as part of the receiving team, Coleman is a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Gulf War in Iraq and Korea. He is also the president of the local chapter of the Top 10 Social Club, a grassroots organization whose sole mission is to fund scholarships for underprivileged high school graduates who do not have the funds to support their college education dreams.
