  Turkey Time
WaterView Casino Hotel donated turkeys to three local organizations in November. Employees from the Vicksburg casino, including General Manager Penny Bankston, Sean McLeod, Mike Emery and David Lee, delivered the frozen turkeys to the organizations in time for Thanksgiving.
   Holiday Tradition
   Beau Rivage volunteers served a holiday feast to veterans in December at the Biloxi VA. The property’s culinary team prepared holiday favorites, including turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, and fresh fruit. The Veterans Networking Group at Beau Rivage helped plan the visit and intends to make the event a holiday tradition.
   Placing Wreaths
Hard Rock employees helped to place wreaths at the Biloxi National Cemetery. More than 30,000 wreaths were put out to honor the service of veterans during the holiday season.
   Donating Turkeys
Hollywood Casino Tunica and 1st Jackpot Casino donated 500 turkeys in November to the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office, which distributed turkeys to the elderly, disabled, and some of the economically disadvantaged members in the community.

 For Pet’s Sake
Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort donated linens to For Pet’s Sake Rescue in Long Beach. The donation, made in November, included four bins of linens to help unwanted and neglected animals in need of a forever home.
