 Contributions & Donations
More than 30 Beau Rivage team members volunteered during two days in November at Pathways2Possibilities, showing Gulf Coast students the career paths the Biloxi property has to offer, as well as encouraging them to explore a career in the hospitality industry. Beau Rivage’s booth featured a limo, remote control cars, a putting green, dust mop relay race, paper airplane toss, a culinary station, interactive event display and more. Pathways2Possibilities is a hands- on, interactive career expo for all Gulf Coast eighth-graders and opportunity youth ages 16-24.
Friends of Friends
WaterView Casino Hotel donated $5,000 to the Friends of City of Vicksburg Animal Shelter, which will soon open a new shelter. The Vicksburg casino makes these community donations on a regular basis. WaterView General Manager Penny Bankston (second from left) presented the donation to shelter volunteers.
 Valentines for Vets
Gold Strike Casino Resort gave back to those who served with its first Valentines for Vets campaign. Employee-designed cards and messages were delivered to veterans at the Lt. Cornel Weathers VA Medical Center in Memphis. The Valentine delivery was part of the medical center’s various activities set for National Salute to Veteran Patients week.
  Community Donations
Boomtown Casino Biloxi and sister property Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast continue to make donations each month to various community organizations. Boomtown donated $1,248.99 to the Gulfport Memorial Foundation in October; $1,123.99 to the Gulf Coast Utility Relief in November; and $1,584.27 to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in December.
