In celebration of the University’s 140th anniversary, as well as the 40th birthday of President M. Christopher Brown II, the Alcorn family has been hard at work. President Brown marked his own 40-year milestone with a scholarship fundraiser reception. More than 400 Alcornites and friends were in attendance to support student scholarships. And now, the University is pleased to introduce its inaugural class of 40 Under 40. ese 40 outstanding alumni are rising professionals and driven achievers who are making a di erence for others with their many gifts and talents. rough the value they place on building knowledge and character in their own lives, they re ect the Alcorn legacy every day.
