Biloxi Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tina Ross-Seamans was named the Outstanding Citizen of the Year by the Biloxi Lions Club. She has been with the chamber 16 years, and during that time the membership has grown and events have multiplied.
“I am overwhelmed that I was chosen for such an honor,” she said, “and so honored to be included in such an impressive group of people over the years. I am happy, grateful, thankful and blessed.”
Born and raised in Biloxi as the youngest of six children, she has been married to
Mark Seamans for 26 years. Ross-Seamans is motivated to promote
Biloxi and make it a good place to live and visit because she truly loves her city and her coast. “I am proud to be a Biloxian,” she says.
Her career in hospitality/tourism marketing began right after she graduated from Biloxi High School. After more
than 20 years promoting the Mississippi Gulf Coast as a tourist destination to conventions, associations, tour & travel and international markets, she transitioned into the chamber world.
