Who or what inspired you to pursue your current career?
My father. He’s always told me that our lives
are not determined by what happens to us, but how we react to what happens; not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude we bring to life. A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events, and outcomes. It is a catalyst, a spark that creates extraordinary results and it has always stuck with me!
What I like best about what I do is:
The best part of my job is serving others.
Many times, a phone call will land at my desk after several unsuccessful attempts with other departments. I pride myself on being patient, a great listener and a problem solver. The highlight of my day is being able to address someone’s concerns and give them helpful answers.
Advice I would give to young female entrepreneurs:
Do what you love. Work hard and learn as much as you can, set high expectations and stay the course. Challenge yourself and others around you to grow. Change is scary, but also necessary! Everything you do, every decision you make, do with integrity.
My greatest successes have been:
Motherhood. My daughters are my world. They have made me the women that I am today. They are my biggest cheerleaders and push me every day to be the best.
