What moment from your life made the biggest impact on your career? When I became the city attorney for Ocean Springs at age 28, only two
years into my legal career. I was terrified and humbled. Having the city trust me to take on the complexities of working both the legal and political angle of city business was encouraging.
I blossomed, became more confident in myself and my trade, and because of that I decided to take a leap of faith and open my own law firm and title company.

What inspired you to pursue your current career? In 2019, I attended a costume ball but could envision more. During quarantine, I stepped
up and shared my vision of an annual Faery Court Masquerade Ball fundraiser to bring joy into people’s lives plus raise money for a good cause.
What I like best about what I do is: Creating an immersive experience allows guests to appreciate and support art in all forms and express their love of fantasy costumes within a like-minded community.

Who or what inspired you to pursue your current career? For as long as I remember, I have dreamed of owning a gift shop. I love giving thoughtful gifts and helping people find the perfect gifts for their occasion.
What I like best about what I do is: My favorite thing about owning a home decor and gift shop is building relationships with customers, helping them find the perfect piece for their home, or helping them pick out the best gift for their loved ones. When they are excited and feel good about their purchase, it makes me excited as well.
