Creative, versatile, and passionate about her craft, Alison Cuevas has quickly established herself as a master colorist and salon owner over five short years in the beauty industry. Alison Cuevas Hair Studio opened
in May of 2023 and has already been nominated for Best Beauty Salon on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Cuevas loves to be able to touch
her clients’ lives, not just their hair
– being with them through the ups and downs. She loves being able to build relationships with clients and celebrate all their life’s milestones with them. Specializing in color corrections, vivid colors and blonding, Cuevas loves using her creativity and artistic talent to create the perfect custom color and style for each client.
In addition to being full time behind the chair, she is also a local freelance artist and is currently having her first coloring book published. If she could give advice to young female entrepreneurs it would be to stay true to yourself, own your magic, and never let anyone try to put you inside a box.
