Being part of a family business that began in the early 1980s was all the inspiration Nicole Barrineau- Matthews needed to carry on the tradition of Inside Outside, Inc. Kitchen & Bath.
“As the third-generation owner I’m very proud
to carry on our name and continue to grow the business,” she said. “While the company has evolved over the years, the family’s commitment to excellence has remained the same: to offer quality products at
a competitive price and to provide
exceptional customer service from
inspiration to installation.”
“Today, the same holds true,” the owner points out. “Working alongside both of my parents for almost 25 years has taught me so much.”
Over the years, Inside Outside’s work has appeared in hundreds of remarkable homes and businesses throughout the South, as well as in national publications. It remains the oldest natural stone countertop fabrication business in Mississippi.
She considers creating beautiful spaces that her clients can enjoy for years as her
 Barrineau-Matthews loves every aspect of the kitchen & bath business, but her favorite thing is starting a new project and watching the whole thing come to life. She also loves the countertop fabrication shop. “It challenges me daily!”
When the Barrineau family began the home-design component of their company, no business in the state
– and few in the region – offered natural stone products for the home.

greatest success. Also, seeing their work in commercial spaces and being very proud to say, “my team did that” is a success.
People may be surprised to learn that Barrineau-Matthews is a huge animal lover. “I had five dogs at one point not that long ago. Inside Outside supports the Humane Society of South Mississippi by sponsoring a heart worm positive dogs’ treatment each month in hopes of them being adopted.”
