What I like best about what I do is:
Being able to furnish customers with all kinds of sweets, drinks, health and beauty products, tobacco products and enable them to satisfy their customers, for 99 years, since 1924.
Advice I would give to young female entrepreneurs:
Don’t be afraid to start your own business or carry on a family business, but use your smarts and help others enjoy the fruits of this earth.

Ellen Taylor and her family are deeply rooted in the insurance industry and the Mississippi Gulf Coast, so this was a natural career
path for her. “Getting to see the Gulf Coast through the client’s perspective, whether they are from the West Coast or West Texas, is really an awesome experience and reminds me how lucky we are to call this place home,” says Taylor.
While it’s a difficult market, Taylor enjoys the challenge. “We have a team and resources to navigate this market and provide solutions for our customers,” she says.

Dr. Elizabeth Bucher, born and raised in New Orleans, obtained her Bachelor
of Arts in English from Boston College and completed her medical education at LSU School of Medicine. Afterward, she pursued an internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical
Center, where she also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Bucher then completed
a prestigious fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Procedural Dermatology.
With extensive experience in Mohs surgery, Dr. Bucher has performed or assisted with over 10,000 procedures, emphasizing excellent cosmetic outcomes. She has worked as a faculty member at UMass and in private practice in the Boston area, training residents and fellows in Mohs surgery. In 2015, she returned to her hometown and joined the Skin Surgery Centre in New Orleans.
Dr. Bucher holds a Clinical Assistant Professor position in Dermatology at LSU in New Orleans. Her surgical expertise includes Mohs micrographic surgery and excisional surgery for skin cancer treatment, and she is passionate about skin cancer prevention and treatment for adults and children over five years old.
