Who or what inspired you to pursue your current career?
I was inspired to own my own business after working and managing many different boutiques all over the country. Being able to own my own boutique in such a quaint coastal town is a dream come true!
What I like best about what I do is: Helping each and every person who walks through my door find the perfect shoe to fit their lifestyle and wardrobe!
What’s something interesting about you that not many people know? I modeled for John Casablancas in the ‘80s and taught the Sears Model’s Club in the ‘90s.

Who or what inspired you to pursue your current career? I knew I always wanted to be involved in the fashion industry, I just didn’t know how to make an impact until my husband suggested opening my own store.
What I like best about what I do is: I love encouraging women to embrace their best qualities through fashion. When you love your outfit, you tend to love yourself.
What moment from your life made the biggest impact on your career? Moving to New York definitely played a critical role in my life. It allowed me to explore parts of myself and the world I never thought I needed. It opened my eyes to different cultures, styles, and experiences that allow me to integrate unique characteristics into Tribe!

“Brailey’s dad knew we were capable of turning this place into a home where people could feel comfortable
and welcome,” adds Fleming. “Not to toot our own horn, but we do our jobs to the absolute best of our abilities!”

Wendy Butler dreamed
of a career with longevity
that was as interesting
as it was stable, and
she found that in SouthGroup. A single mother, Wendy loves helping people reach their goals and talking to them about their personal needs.
She is proud to say that her greatest successes have been her children, and teaching them that hard work pays off. Another life lesson? “Do what makes you happy,” she says. “You should enjoy your job.”
In addition to her career, Wendy finds joy in sitting on the beach and listening to the waves. Oh, and fresh Gulf seafood, of course! According to her, “I'm a simple girl and an open book.”
That transparency has earned her the trust of her clients over the past 20 years, many of whom have followed her through job changes. She looks forward to continuing to serve her clients, both old and new, in years to come.
