Seafood lovers crack into favorites at Treasure Bay
BILOXI — Treasure Bay has upped its seafood game in its buffet. Not only does the infinity buffet serve crab legs, but now guests can crack their way into lobster and crawfish. The crab legs, lobster claws and crawfish are offered daily, and whole lobster is served on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
The resort’s buffet is the only one in Biloxi that serves crab — both snow and Dungeness — for lunch and dinner. Add to that the spicy crawfish and sweet lobster, also available for
lunch and dinner, and this is a shellfish lover’s all-you-can-eat dream come true.
Guests are enjoying the seafood bonanza as the buffet has become home to family gatherings, birthday parties and group dinners, said Jarrett Hipp, food and beverage operations manager. “People know they can only get crab and lobster here. It’s become a social event, and it’s really cool to see people getting together and coming here.”
Hipp said whole lobsters are an Asian delicacy. True pros know how to crack open the crustaceans and get the meat from the claws and tail. While not everyone enjoys every part of the lobster, many do find the meat in the body and even the head to be tasty treats.

recent Tuesday night, we took the crackers the buffet provides to all guests and worked our way through the lobsters, cracking and peeling, getting out the firm, yet delicate meat, which we then dipped into warm melted butter. We savored each mouthful.
After the lobster, we indulged in crab legs, pulling out the sweet meat and dunking the pieces into the butter.
