MISSISSIPPI — Mother’s Day is the perfect time to treat mom — and all the women in your life — to a special meal out. Casino chefs have been working up holiday menus and notable dishes in buffets, cafes and fine dining restaurants. Remember, Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 8, and all specials are offered on that day only.
Beau Rivage
At Beau Rivage, BR Prime will be offering Mother’s Day Brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Featured items include eggs Benedict, fresh chilled seafood, made-to-order eggs and omelets and the chef’s carving station. There will also be a pastry display and brunch includes bottomless mimosas, bloody Marys and champagne. Enjoy live entertainment featuring Gram Rea and Donte Nagle. The brunch is $75 per
adult and $45 per child ages three to seven. Reservations are required.
Treasure Bay
Celebrate Mother’s Day at Treasure Bay with Sunday Brunch in The Den. Enjoy
a three-course prix fixe menu featuring petite filet mignon and pan-seared flounder with jumbo royal red shrimp served with soup or salad and dessert for $65 per couple. The meal comes with complimentary bottomless champagne.
Brunch will be served Sunday, May 8,
from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Den is located on the ninth floor.
Palace Casino Resort
Treat Mom to a meal at Palace Casino Resort, where two of their restaurants are hosting holiday meals. In the Palace Buffet, Mother’s Day brunch and dinner will be served from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. for $26 with a players club card ($28 without).
Enjoy seasonal favorites, along with prime rib, ham, roasted turkey and favorites from the Grill, Comfort, Wok and Coastal stations. Plus, get made-to-order eggs and omelets until 3 p.m. (The breakfast buffet will not be available on May 8.)
In Mignon’s Steaks & Seafood, a three- course gourmet dinner will be offered from noon to 6 p.m. for $69 per person. Start the meal with a choice of a strawberry salad with buttermilk basil dressing or roasted pepper and
tomato soup.
The main course is a choice
between petite filet mignon with potato puree and baby carrots or American red snapper with blue crab, shrimp and polenta with a beurre blanc sauce. And for dessert, enjoy molten white
chocolate cake.
The a la carte menu will also be available.

Make this Mother’s Day memorable with a celebratory meal at The View Casino Resorts.
The Buffet will honor moms with a feast fit for a queen, featuring shrimp and asparagus bisque, spinach strawberry salad, large peel-and-eat gulf shrimp, ham and cheese omelets topped with hollandaise sauce and asparagus tips, bananas foster French toast, praline-topped sweet potato casserole, applewood thick-cut bacon, carved flank steak of beef, sliced lamb roast with roasted onions and mint jelly jus, Asian orange chicken with spring vegetables, double cut sweet and sour-glazed baby back ribs, as well as all the traditional favorites from the Asian, Southern, and Italian stations.
And for the finale, don’t forget the house- made gelatos, custards and ice creams from the area’s largest dessert bar. The Buffet’s Mother’s Day menu is available May 8 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for $27.99 per person.
