At Palace Casino Resort
Wahoo’s is the perfect hot spot for cool summertime dining
BILOXI — Summertime on the Gulf Coast means swimming, boating and fun in the sun. It also means outdoor dining. Visitors and locals alike can enjoy cool drinks, good food and fast, friendly service at Wahoo’s, the poolside bar and grill at Palace Casino Resort.
Located adjacent to the hotel’s family friendly swimming pool, Wahoo’s offers amazing views of the Back Bay. Guests can pull right up in their boat, docking at the marina, or park
in the side lot that provides easy access to the outdoor eatery. Plus, waitresses are available to take orders and deliver food right to your lounge chair at the pool.
Wahoo’s has plenty of table seating, or guests can sit at the bar and watch as their drinks are made. There are a number of large screen TVs, plus overhead fans work to keep the restaurant cool and comfortable.
We visited Wahoo’s recently on a warm night, so before we got to the food, we perused the drink menu. You know the drinks are going to be good when the whole backside of the one-page menu is devoted to them. There are frozen concoctions, including the Bushwacker and the new blonde
The new oyster po boy at Wahoo’s Poolside Bar & Grill at Palace Casino Resort. The oysters are hand-breaded, fried and delicious. (Right) Refresh with a Kona Big Wave Golden Ale and the Wahoo’s Bikini.
